Elm receives ‘The Vice President’s Award’ from insurance group
By Bob Bacon
March has been a crazy month for me. My promised Part 4 of 4 won’t make the newsletter deadline, but it will be in the April edition!
I did have a few things I wanted to mention.
The Tree House “Run the Runway 5K” will be April 23rd at the The Northampton Airport. The Elm team “No Sparks” has 46 team members and we have raised nearly $4,000 dollars. Supporting foster children is so important. Elm has been steadily finding ways to help these kids out. The Treehouse community in Easthampton is an amazing success story in foster care. If you would like to support our team with a donation of any amount, please click here.
I’d like to make a big shout out to Nikki Puza for her help rallying our “No Sparks” Team.
We have been working on improving our company communication and internal messaging. As Elm has grown, we think it is more important than ever to articulate the ways we do our work, our business, treat our coworkers and support communities. Our “Safety to the Next Level” message has been a wonderful success and continues to be a safety beacon for all of us. Stay tuned for the next chapter.
You have again been recognized as great team. Elm received “The Vice President’s Award” from our insurance group Tuesday. We received it because we have very low insurance claims, well below what would normally be expected in the average market. What really stood out for me was 22 of the 40 companies in our insurance group received an award like ours or even better. Elm is in very good company with our group. These companies are very much like us and we are able to learn and share ideas with each other. It definitely make us a better and more competitive organization.
