Elm’s Middletown, CT office highlights several projects heading into fall/winter seasons
By Erik Pedersen
Moving into the fall and winter seasons, we have completed Phase 1 of the Stamford WWTF Degritting project and look to start Phase 2 in early November. We will close out the Southington Pump Stations project in early November and shift those crews to Stamford.
Our crew at BYK in Wallingford remains busy and will be completing two large projects in October — The Hydrogen Mitigation Controls and The Tanker Trans loading power and controls. New projects will continue through the fall and winter at BYK as Elm and One Development have been awarded the B7-8 MCC Building and Electrical infrastructure project, MCC Expansion project, as well as continued support of the day-to-day electrical needs for the facility.
We will again support Collins Aerospace for the October shutdown with several crews working on a variety of projects. DC crews are wrapping up projects for the year and we have several new projects and opportunities slated to start in 2024. Several EV projects are ongoing as well as a new one starting at STA Bus company in Middletown, NY. Thanks to Matt Killenbeck, Pat Torcato, Ashley Shepard and Ethan Schneider for covering these projects in CT, MA VT and NY.
