EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Rich Stawarz

In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we get to learn a little more about Rich Stawarz and his role at Elm.
Q: How long have you been working at Elm?
A: I have been with Elm for 5 1/2 years now.
Q: What brought you to Elm? How did you get your start here?
A: I was contacted by CyberCoders Recruiting through LinkedIn. I had been designing controls, writing PLC & HMI software, and preforming traveling services for the paper industry for approximately 30 years. With the unfortunate decline in capital sales throughout the paper industry, I accepted the recruiters invitation to apply to Elm Electrical.
Q: Can you tell us a little about your role at Elm?
A: At Elm my tasks include pricing, quoting, writing PLC & HMI software, project startups and service as required.
Q: What are some of the things you enjoy most about working at Elm?
A: What I enjoy most about working at Elm is the diversity of projects. I also enjoy the collaboration and support I share with my colleagues.
Q: What has been one of your most rewarding experiences at Elm?
A: The most rewarding experiences at Elm is once again, being a part of this team. I still am very impressed by and appreciate the skillset at Elm.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not working?
A: My wife, children, grandchildren and several friends all enjoy camping together. We all have campers and travel to a variety of locations on the east coast.
Q: Do you have a particular hobby or talent that co-workers may not know about?
A: We often bicycle along the bike paths of Easthampton and Northampton. Also, boating when we get the chance.
