Ninja Turtle Robots? They’re getting the job done at Ken’s

By Mike Holmberg

Engineering finalized the Collaborative Robot (Palit) installations at the Ken’s Lebanon, Indiana facility and the Ken’s team is very happy with the performance.  The Lebanon operators even dressed the robots up as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  We are slated to install four more systems in the Marlborough facility at the end of this month. Who knows? Maybe they will be the Fantastic Four!

We have also completed the installation of the Muffin loading system at the Morrisons Pastries facility in Long Island, New York.  The system is running well and is packaging between 3,500 to 5,000 dozen muffins per day.

Overall, the department is staying busy despite the extreme challenge obtaining certain components. Fortunately, our customers understand these challenges and have been extremely patient as we work with Distributors and Suppliers to expedite hardware.
