Journeyman – Eastern Mass based out of Marlborough, MA branch

We are currently seeking MA-licensed Journeyman Electricians for Eastern Massachusetts to be based out of our Marlborough, MA branch. We encourage Industrial, Manufacturing, and Commercially skilled electricians to apply. Water, wastewater, paper pulp, food & beverage project experience a plus. The ideal Journeyman candidate will be Motivated, Reliable, Confident, and Safety-Minded.

Job Description

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit and associated wiring
  • Connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment
  • Connect power cables to equipment, such as motors, distribution equipment, and equipment
  • Install electrical systems per the current version of the National and Massachusetts Electrical Code
  • Perform transformer, feeder, electrical raceway system, and electrical apparatus installations
  • Follow all safe practices for installations as required by OSHA and NFPA
  • Implement basic troubleshooting techniques
  • Possess a basic understanding of industrial equipment, controls, and circuits
  • Utilize safe workplace practices
  • Experience with manufacturing and production facilities is an asset, as is knowledge of low-voltage and communication system installations

Requirements:

Successful candidates will also possess:

  • Communication skills
  • Supervisory skills
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Competent computer skills
  • Proof of a valid Massachusetts Journeyman’s License (NH or RI Journeyman License a Plus!)
  • Proof of valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check

  • Proof of previous or existing years of Code and Theory classroom hours
